I tried to go back to Paws but they are the same as always.
I went out to the pens to check on the dogs and found a sick dog.
I think he was bitten by a spider and then some new guy dipped the dogs last night.
This poor dog was laying on cold cement and couldn't move.
I picked him up and carried him to my truck and drove him over to one of the main paws people but she is too busy and can't help me.
Another one is too busy and can't help me help the dog.
I said we need to get him to a vet and have him put out of his misery or save him if they can and our local vet is gone for the weekend as always.
I asked if we could take him to McAlester and they said no it cost too much.
I asked them why they can't take care of the dogs they get and quit getting new ones all the time.
This little feller was saved from the pound and shuffled around and ended up in the back pen and forgotten about and has mange really bad.
He is really bad off but no one will help me.
I told them they needed to get an emergency vet for the weekends.
I brought him home and put him in my closet but he is suffering so much I can't stand it.
Their logic is that they can't save them all.
They said this one has always been sickly and that's a lie.
They let him get that way despite me wanting to help him they just keep getting more and more.
I am really mad.
This is why I quit last time.
I would always be the one to bring the dying ones home on the weekends and hold them in my arms until they died while the others just sat at home having a good time.
Fu** them all.
Lisa, Christine is lucky she isn't with them.
That's not how to run a no-kill shelter.
